Holly Hughes Receives Several Key Endorsements from Job Providers

Holly Hughes, candidate for State Representative, today announced the endorsements of several prominent business organizations in Michigan.  The Michigan Chamber of Commerce, Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM), National Association of Independent Businesses, Michigan Restaurant Association, Michigan Association of Insurance Agents, West Michigan Lakeshore Association of Realtors and National Federation of Independent Businesses have given Holly their support for the upcoming election.
“Michigan is struggling to keep and attract jobs. Jobs are priority number one, so that our children and grandchildren can work, live and continue to call the Muskegon area home.  I thank all of these important business organizations for their crucial support,” stated Holly Hughes.

“Holly Hughes is a candidate of the highest caliber.  She is pro-business, pro-jobs, pro-taxpayer and her position on the issues combined with her political and business experience will make her a great state representative,” said Phil Guyesky, Director of Political Affairs for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce.

Hughes received the support of job providers due to her experience as a small business owner and for her willingness to fight higher taxes and regulations.  Hughes is committed to expanding and diversifying Michigan’s economic industries.  Meanwhile, her opponent voted to raise taxes and increase regulations on Michigan businesses.

“In these difficult economic times, we believe Holly Hughes is the best qualified candidate to represent Michigan’s 91st State House District.  Her experience and success reveals a high level of knowledge and commitment on a wide variety of business and consumer-related issues,” said Michigan Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA) VP of Governmental Affairs, Scott Hummel.

“As a small business owner, Holly Hughes has the job-making experience that Lansing is missing right now.  Her support on the issues that matter most to small business will help create the jobs Michigan so desperately needs,” said Todd Anderson, VP of Government Relations for the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM). ###
